Barton Rubenstein

Artist Bio

As a former scientist of the visual sciences, Barton Rubenstein has always been keenly interested in visual forms of nature, especially those related to water, motion, and suspension. Rubenstein typically uses bronze, stainless steel, stone and glass and creates sculpture with and without water. He has enjoyed the collaborative process of public art as well as commercial and residential site-specific commissions. Details and prices are available upon request.

"As if some mysterious primordial force were at work, the sounds of water and its flow, as well as natural movement caused by wind or water, can penetrate and mesmerize one's soul like nothing else. Although different from nature's form, these sculptures can evoke similar emotions, whether it be one of delight or pensive introspection." - Barton Rubenstein
