Figurative (Realistic)

Depicts the subject (people, animals, or other objects) in a realistic / easily recognizable way.

 

Figurative (Modern)

Depicts the subject (people, animals, or other objects) in a much more stylized fashion. Certain features are either exaggerated, minimized, stylized or 'suggested' in an attempt to show the 'essence' of the subject.

 

Abstract (Geometric)

Flat planes, angles, spheres and other geometric forms dominate these sculptures. May or may not be actually trying to depict any particular subject matter.

 

Abstract (Curvilinear)

Smooth, flowing curvilinear lines dominate these sculptures. May or may not be actually trying to depict any particular subject.

 

Kinetic Sculpture

The sculpture actually moves from the force of wind or water.

 

Water / Fountain Sculpture

Water and / or moving water is an integral part of the sculpture.

 

Portraiture / Memorial Sculpture

These sculptures strive to realistically portray a particular individual or even a group of people.
